Hi,
My "new" pair of Red Whiskered Bulbuls have chicks in the indoor flight. Pretty early but as I've discovered they will breed when ready. Not when we expect them to! I am pleased as the cock is a bird i bred myself last year and the hen was bought from another member on here. I know they had 3 eggs but have left them alone so not sure how many chicks there are.

Hi Mark. Hope all goes well with hatching and rearing. Possibly being indoors away from wind and rain and a relatively milder winter could be a factor. I. Have also had early laying and hatching with several pairs of non foreign birds that I brought in as an extra interest along with my softbills, at the moment I have chicks in the nest , there about 3 months ahead than they should be, but things seem to be going fine. James.

Hi James,
Sorry for the delay in replying as i have been away for a few days, Came home today to two fledged chicks, really pleased as i was a little bothered about them having enough live food etc whilst i was away.
