Bearded Barbets was created by Dom
I'd add this to my earlier thread but it's locked.  So I've had my DNA results back and both are cock birds, they continue to amaze me how bold they are with both quite happily coming to take food from my hands.

On the lookout   for two hens or an exchange now.

Hi Dom, it’s always a problem with birds with identical plumage. DNA testing definitely helps, hope a hen or two appear on the market soon. Good they are compatible  James.

Barbets are doing well, very quiet birds consider what other species are reported to be like, I'm struggling to find a female(s) for them.

Apart from what would seem the obvious risk of them eating eggs and chicks could I keep other softbills with them in a large enough flight? If so any suggestions.
