Bee Hummer

Hi, watched a very interesting programme last night ( Wild Cuba ), some fascinating creatures, but the " Star " was the tiny Bee Hummmingbird only 2"" long (50)mm. Beautifully coloured and full of life, reared two little chicks in a nest the size of an egg-cup, made from spiders web and the outside finished with lichen, a thing of true beauty. Amazing birds endemic to Cuba and like a lot of wildlife just managing to survive. Can live between 5 to 7 years apparently. James.
