Peas for Softbills? was created by Mark Powis
Hi,
I have added a few defrosted peas to the Bulbuls food and they seem to relish these but reading that Peas are a good source of vitamin C i am beginning to wonder if these should be limited to maybe once a week as too much vit C can cause problems? I have tried feeding orange occasionally but they don't touch it so is once a week with peas the way to go?

Thanks
Mark.

I have found that only my tanagers will eat them. Have tried several times with Mesia but they don't eat them.
I usually offer them if I have cooked some and so it's not that often.

My Bulbuls and Spotless Starling take them but not much else . A good addition to a diet once or twice a week
