Does anyone have experience in breeding red legged honeycreepers?

Yes I did. Yellow legged honeycreepers.
It's more than twenty years ago.
The chicks died until the eighth day.
Breeding is simple, if you have the right pair.
They like nesting in the high, love to select from a lot of nesting material, mostly soft. At the beginning coconut fibre.
Feeding: nectar, fruit, sweet and juicy, insectfood. Live food: waxworm, mealworm, fruit flies and their larvae.
I think, my chicks died, because I didn't give enough little insectfood. And I feeded cottage cheese. Bad mistake!
