Now your birds will teach you that conferenze is not the same conference.
Do not give up.
You'll have to learn which conference you can buy, and which you better not (size).
You learn how long you have to let them lie until they have the maturity your birds like.
If you want to try pears, I recommend you the Wiliams Bon (Chretien Willimas Christ), very delicious. Unfortunately rare to get. Sensitive in storage.
The variety Rocha, only brings something if it has a reasonable size. It takes a long time to mature. Hard as stone in winter! Even after two weeks! Better in the summer. Pears in the winter so possibly buy two weeks earlier (stock) because of the longer maturity!

Hi Tiffani,
Thanks for the update, i have bought some pears that are just beginning to soften and will leave these a few days and try some with the birds.
On the plus side the Bulbuls are now carrying nesting material which shows promise!
Regards
Mark

I'll keep my fingers crossed.
One more remark, if you should feed nectar or loro parrots mush, consider that this could drastically reduce fruit intake.
Good luck!
