Hoping to breed these this year.
Guldenstadts redstart also known as the White winged redstart.

Hi Peter, lovely birds ,not unlike a bigger moussiers in appearance. Being from Alpine habitat near the snow levels they should do well in our climate, read they much favoured moths and spiders, best of luck with them. James.

this species have a history of not doing too well in captivity why i dont know normally the males die first , Yes they look like a giant Mousiers redstart. i made a pr from 2 surviving individuals that had each lost there mates i have housed them separately but in adjoining flights where they are flying back and forth together, i have concerns about the female as she dont seem bothered to eat hardly any livefood.

hi ive got a pair of these birds both are in the same flight and both eating live frozen and softbill insect mix i hope they will do somthing this year good luck with yours dave
