ZWOLSE BIRDMARKET MAKES A RELAUNCH WITH NEW ORGANIZATION

Zwolle, 7 November 2018 - Recently the Association de Volièrevriend, which organized the Zwolse Vogelmarkt for 34 years, announced to stop the event. The Birdmarket had become too large for the association that organized the market for many years with many volunteers. In the world of birdwatchers, this news came as a kind of shock. The market in Zwolle was a meeting point for many enthusiasts twice a year and the ideal opportunity to purchase new birds or products for the hobby. The market was visited by thousands of enthusiasts from home and abroad and the end of the market was even labeled as a disaster by some.

New start
Not long after this news was brought out, Toni Denneboom, director Libéma fairs and events North and East, was approached by the company Heesakkers. With their business JH Bird products, they were present at the Zwolse Birdmarket for many years as exhibitors. In response to all reports from the media and the many reactions from the bird world, if it was possible to continue the market in a different way, they decided to continue the organization of the market.
Toni Denneboom is pleased that it has succeeded in preserving the Zwolse Birdmarket in Zwolle. In combination with our experience in organizing events, I am convinced that we can continue the Vogelmarkt for many years to come ".

IJsselhallen Zwolle and JH Bird products will join forces in the organization of this event.
