Hello James, Yes it is im afraid, Colin is correct you can see the difference regarding the spots the only problem is you need at least 1 of each sex for comparison. they vary a lot 2 with individual behavior ive had some that have been really nasty individuals. there are also two types the Amethyst colour and the other appears to be more blue.

I have bred two young this year. Have not had them Dna sexed yet but would be happy to do an exchange
