managed to catch the nest not being sat on briefly today only 1 egg but if it hatches and is reared i will be happy. it is due to hatch any day now fingers crossed. they were again ok with me in there flight until i reached up to feel in the nest then they let you know they dont like it.

Bad news,
on Saturday i looked down the garden from my livingroom and noticed both the Collared laughing thrushes moving around in there flight, i knew straight away something was not right so i inspected there nest sadly it was empty i searched for eggshell or a chick but could not find anything.

Sorry to hear that Peter, at least they appear to be a compatible pair. They might even try again this year although it's getting late. My Red-tailed have laid well into September.
