<description>Sadly there has always been a shortage of cock Dacnis in captivity because the hens are notoriously aggressive towards them and often dont allow them to get to the food.

So we shall concentrate on getting them right for next year

I will shortly have the second indoor flight up and running, so need to think what I can put in there and get them settled in for next year.

Need to be Tanagers / Tanager size - anyone have a breeding pair of something then please let me know.

<description>Hi Hadrian, sorry mate i did receive it but havent read it yet. But if it makes it any better i also have about 200 others i havent replied to either. LOL.

But in reply to your question, and this goes to Matt as well, there are numerous important positions needed to be filled, like Teasurer, website admin, event organisers etc etc, the list goes on.
Basically until a formal committee is formed, your help is much needed and extremely welcome in all sections of promoting FSSUK, so what i would suggest is that if you or anyone else wants to help out in anything or any way at all then please put yourself forward to help or propose ideas for new ventures etc etc.
Its all very much appreciated, thanks very much.

welcome to the site chris,
got to agree with John mate,i used to do the same as you spend ages thinking i was doing a realy good job only to find it wasall for nothing, realy depressing all that work for nothing haha,,,i learned the hard way too,,as John says type it to word document first then save it then post it ,,make sure you save it first in case things dont go right then at least you havnt got to write it all again,,,another tip is dont post it straight away, look again at it later on as there is bound to be things you want to change,,i know i do,,

            <description>Hi Roland,
The short answer is no. I was hoping to go to the Pleasanton bird mart last weekend and get all the bits I needed as well as finish the aviary. Unfortunately I had a set back on my recovery from a broken back, which meant no aviary so no birds. I will get them eventually.

Out of interest I would be keen to know what brand of softfood you recommend.

            <description>Hi
We are still looking for one hen Asian and one hen European (Azurewinged Magpies) to go with our DNA sexed Cocks, Hadrian is keeping 1 hen for us to have in about 3 weeks time, so if anybody out there can help we would be very pleased.
