Welcome to The Foreign Softbill Society UK

Foreign Softbills are birds that eat one, two or all of the following foods; Fruit (Frugivores), Insects (Insectivores) and Nectar (Nectivores) and come from none UK and none European countries and as such The Foreign Softbill Society UK was formed in 2006 to help establish many of these species of Foreign Softbills in UK aviculture.

By working together with Private breeders both within the UK and Europe, we aim to establish Foreign Softbills for future generations and to enhance co-operation between the private breeder, Zoos and Bird Gardens and exchange our experiences and knowledge openly and fully.
